How do Day & Night blinds work?
Just like a traditional roller blind, Day & Night blinds are operated either with a side chain, or with a remote control. The bottom layer of fabric is made from a translucent voile material, whereas the top layer is made from a heavier opaque fabric, which is cut in a slatted fashion to allow the voile to show through underneath, giving a striped effect.
The front layer of fabric moves independently of the back layer, allowing an open or closed effect, and offering you the option to control how much light enters your room. The two layers can be lined up at different points to achieve varying levels of transparency. This design allows you to filter the light, whilst still being able to see out of the window, and also affords you total privacy when required.
